Deborah Kaye Moore Hannah, 59, passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025, at her home in Fort Gay, West Virginia.

She was born July 6, 1966, in Columbus, Ohio.

Deborah is preceded in death by her father Claude “Buddy” Moore, mother Juanita Marcum (Johnny) Sammons, brother Gabe Moore, father-in-law Dana Hannah, mother-in-law Tennessee Hannah, and brothers-in-law David Stiltner and Gartha Hannah.

Deborah is survived by her husband, John Daniel Hannah of Fort Gay; her children, Jonathan Hannah and Christopher Hannah, both of Webb, Donnie Hannah and Everly Hannah, both of Stone Coal, and Samantha (Chad) Nichols of Lovely, Kentucky; and her stepson, Andy Clark of Fort Gay. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Tristen, Ricky, Princeton, CJ, Brantley, Willow and Brooklyn; siblings, Margie (David) Wright, and BJ (Vickie) Moore; stepbrother Matthew (Tange) Sammons; sisters-in-law Iva (Grady) Romans, Wanda (Chester) Waugh, Elaine Stiltner, Juanita (John Wayne) White and Ruby Hannah; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and some very special friends,

Deborah was married for over 44 years to John Daniel Hannah, having wed him Feb. 24, 1981. They have kids and grandkids together that she loved dearly.

Deborah was a Christian and loved Jesus Christ. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Beauty, Kentucky.

Visitation started at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, and will continue until the time of services Thursday at the Riverbend Freewill Baptist Church in Crum. There will be a service at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral services will be at noon Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025, with Greenway Parsley officiating. Burial will follow at the family cemetery on Webb Road in Crum. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
