Gladys (Jude) Stacy, 94, of Inez, passed away Aug. 7, 2025, at her residence.

Born July 13, 1931, in Martin County, she was the daughter of the late George and Easter (Fletcher) Jude.

In addition to her parents, Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, Carmel Stacy; two sons, Harrison Stacy and Kenny Stacy; four daughters, Tilda Fay Stacy, Lindy Jude, Judy Blackburn and Brenda Dalton; three brothers, Jeff Jude, Harrison Jude and Charlie Jude; four sisters, Vinie Stacy, Ollie Maynard, Merky Maynard and Janie Jude; one grandchild, Kimberly Stacy; and one great-grandchild, Chase Ryder Dalton.

She is survived by four sons, Haskel (Joyce) Stacy, Andy (Sharon) Stacy and Jasper Stacy, all of Inez, and Elmer Stacy of Van Lear; and two daughters, Kay (Gordon) Fletcher of Tomahawk and Tammy (Joseph) Fannin of Milo.

Gladys is also survived by 39 grandchildren, Carmel Ray Jude, Judy Tuttle, Virgil (Kim) Jude, Mary Roundy, Zachary Jude, Amanda Jude, Elias (Heidi) Stacy, Gladys Lynn (Gary) Adams, Brad (Roxie) Stacy, Carmel (Maddie) Stacy, Misty (Kelly) Mills, Dillon Stacy, Chase Stacy, Angie (Mitchell) Smith, Stephanie (Randy) Fletcher, Andrea (Willie Blackburn) Stacy, Michelle Stacy, Gladys Maynard, Judy (George) Stambaugh, Elmer Stacy Jr., Carmel Stacy, Andy H. Stacy, Whitney Trautman, Joanna Burchett, Hunter Fitch, Eugene Stacy, Jessica Cook, April Stacy, Courtney Stacy, Anna Stacy, Michael Stacy, Tyler Stacy, Cody Stacy, Cody Fletcher, Andy Stacy, Christopher (Madison) Dalton, Justin (Whitney) Dalton, Ashley (Austin) McKinney, Austin Fannin and Harley Stacy; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, at the Crum Funeral Home chapel, Inez, with Luther Fletcher officiating. Burial followed at the Stacy Cemetery in Inez under the direction of Crum Funeral Home.
