
INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:

Kendrick Sartin, 18, of Lovely, was arrested Monday on KY-292 in Lovely on a charge of fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), minor injury.
Chief Deputy Chris Kidd responded to a residence on Route 292 around 2:45 p.m. after a 911 caller reported that Sartin had shoved a pregnant female.
When law enforcement arrived at the residence, the caller met them on the porch “holding a rag over the left side of her head” with visible bleeding.
The caller, who was not the pregnant female, told officers that Sartin struck her with a closed fist, according to the police report.
Sartin remained behind bars Tuesday in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center under a $1,000 bond.

Billy S. Muncy, 46, of Tomahawk, was arrested Monday on a charge of fourth-degree assault (minor injury) following an alleged domestic incident on Milo Road in Tomahawk.
Chief Deputy Chris Kidd responded to a domestic in progress around 9:30 a.m. Upon arrival, a female at the scene told deputies that Muncy had pushed her into a gun cabinet and then onto the floor. She also alleged that Muncy grabbed her by the wrist, leaving visible red marks, according to the police report.
Kidd took Muncy into custody at the scene.

Helen Marie Bowen, 44, of Lovely, was arrested Sunday at the car wash on Boardwalk in Inez on charges of alcohol intoxication in a public place and disorderly conduct.
According to Deputy Jameson Wall, Bowen was yelling at another woman at the car wash and continued to scream despite repeated commands to stop and return to her vehicle. The deputy reported that Bowen had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath. He placed her under arrest at 8:26 p.m.

Cory Crum, 32, of Kermit, West Virginia, was arrested Friday at the Snow Cone stand in Warfield on a bench warrant from Martin Circuit Court. Deputy Steven Putman served the warrant at 10 p.m.

James McNerney, 49, of Beauty, was arrested July 23 in Warfield on a string of charges: operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, disregarding a stop sign, no registration plates, two bench warrants and theft of identity of another without consent.
Deputy Kidd observed McNerney rolling through a stop sign around 1:15 p.m. Upon making a traffic stop, the deputy discovered additional violations, including two active bench warrants, one from the Martin District Court and another from the Boone District Court.
Kidd took McNerney into custody at the scene.

Amanda Jarvis, 35, of Inez, was arrested July 22 on State Route 3 in Inez for contempt of court after allegedly walking away from a court-ordered treatment facility.
Deputy Kidd reported that Martin District Judge Brett Butcher recently ordered Jarvis to undergo treatment at the Mountain Center for Recovery and Hope. According to the arrest report, the facility’s director contacted dispatch to report that Jarvis had left the program without authorization.
Kidd’s report noted that Judge Butcher ordered that no bond be set.

John Pack, 39, of Kermit, West Virginia, was arrested July 22 at the sheriff’s office in Inez on an indictment warrant. Deputy Kidd made the arrest.
