INEZ — For the second Saturday in a row, everyone under 18 will swim for free at the Martin County Pool. Thanks to a generous donation from Shelia Maynard, owner of Professional Cleaning Services of Inez, admission will be covered this Saturday, July 26. Maynard presented a check Tuesday to Martin County Clerk Susie Skyles to fund the effort.

Those over 18 must still pay the regular admission fee.

This marks the second weekend in a row that a local business has stepped up to support community youth. Skyles accepted a check last week from Ashwin Patel, manager of America’s Quick Mart, who covered the cost of youth admission for Saturday, July 19.

Anyone who would like to help give local kids a fun and safe summer experience is encouraged to sponsor a future free swim day by contacting Susie Skyles at 606-298-2810.
