Crum Family gathers for 76th reunion

The 76th Crum Reunion was held July 5 and 6 at the Pigeon Roost Community Center in Pilgrim, drawing family members from four states: Kentucky, West Virginia, Ohio and North Dakota.

A highlight of this year’s gathering was a special service honoring four beloved women in our family: Phyllis Mills, Cheryl Fields, Sharon Wilson and Judy Fitch. These ladies are true cornerstones of our family, and we love them dearly.

More than 50 people attended the weekend celebration, which included a Saturday cookout and Sunday dinner. We missed those who could not be with us this year.

I want to thank everyone who came, as well as those who brought food and beverages. A special thank you goes to my brother-in-law, Jon Staton and my sister-in-law, Angel Staton, for picking blackberries and making both cobbler and dumplings. Your efforts—and those of many others—made the weekend special.

We are praying we will all be together again next year.
