INEZ — Two football players from Martin County High School, Devan Maynard and Corey Parsley, have officially received offers to play at Kentucky Christian University.

Parsley, who graduated in May, was a defensive powerhouse for the Cardinals during his senior season. He disrupted opposing offenses and tallied 38 tackles including an impressive seven for loss and three sacks. Parsley also proved to be a ball-hawk, forcing two fumbles and recovering one.

Maynard, who is set to lead the Cardinals offense as quarterback in the 2025-2026 season under head coach Josh Muncy, also boasts an impressive resume. He is a dual threat on the field,  rushing for 1,189 yards last season and scoring 21 touchdowns. Maynard was equally effective through the air, throwing for 854 yards and completing 12 touchdown passes.
