Leroy Chafins Jr, age 54, of Fort Gay, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lula Spurlock Chafins and Leroy Chafins, and his wife, Laura Williams Chafins.

He is survived by his children Terry Lee Chafins of Georgia, Deanna Chafins of Kermit, Latosha Chafins (Tristen Meade) of Prichard, Lacole Chafins of Fort Gay, Taylor Workman (Elizabeth Workman) of Smithers and a stepdaughter whom he loved dearly Ariel Brewer of Waverly, Ohio. He also leaves behind grandchildren he loved and cherished so much: Brixleigh Muncy, Jayce Muncy, Westin Meade, Heaven Workman, Breanna Watkins and Hailey Watkins. He leaves behind a sister, Lisa Slone (Michael Slone), who will miss him dearly.

Leroy loved to spend time with family and work on vehicles. He was most excited about the upcoming arrival of his newest grandchild, Westin. Leory was very proud of all of his children and grandchildren. He will be so very missed by those who knew him.

Funeral services took place Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Warfield. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
