
Five students from Martin County earned spots on the University of Kentucky’s Dean’s List for the Spring 2025 semester. They join more than 9,700 students who were recognized for academic excellence.
The Martin County students include Jenna E. Cassady, a secondary education major focused on English; Chloe Fields, studying kinesiology; Lauryn G. Pope, marketing; Austin W. Washburn, chemistry; and Cassandra N. Hinkle, liberal studies.
To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn at least 12 graded credit hours and achieve a semester grade-point average of 3.6 or higher. Some colleges within the university use a 3.5 GPA threshold.
