Maudie Jude
1950—2025

Maudie Jude, 74, of Boons Camp, went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2025.

She was born June 23, 1950, to the late Albert Preece and Malissa Dutton Preece.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her three husbands, William (Billy) Jude, Billy White and Jim McDowell and sibling Carl Scott Jr.

Maudie was a housewife, mom and grandma. She was a member of the Boons Camp Church of God.

Survived by daughters Desiree Sara (Jimmy) Scott of West Liberty and Vickie Scott (Glen Moore) of Salyersville; grandkids Malissa (Zach), Carl Jeremiah (Destiny), Denise, Jacob (Kenzi, Samatha (Jersey), Noah Robert (Latoya), Isaiah, William, Serenity and Canaan; great-grandkids Jayden, Jalynn, Willow, Jonah, Isaac, Kennedy, Scarlett, Nevaeh, Junior, Reagen, Natalee, Nixxon, Kyler, Jullian, Thomas and Hunter; brother John Henry (Bud) Preece of Columbus, Ohio; sister Florene Hardy of Clarksville, Tennessee; special friends Lovia Ann McDowell, Kevin (Ball Dawg) Johnson and Lincoln Eaton Kay Smith; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral Services took place at the Boons Camp Church of God on Friday, May 30, 2025, with Joe Stepp officiating. Burial followed at the family cemetery in Pilgrim. Mullins Family Funeral Home of Warfield is honored to serve the family.
