INEZ — Town swelled with music and meaning Saturday as “Rich Men North of Richmond” singer Oliver Anthony brought a free day of music to Inez.
Crowds packed downtown to hang out while artists Wesley Saylor, Dylan Barber, Randon Neeley, Cody McCoy, Jayce Turley, Emmy Davis, Zack Runyon and Little Ozzy performed in front of Anthony.

Anthony struck a chord with Kentucky fans, performing an intimate, stripped-down set as night fell on the hills surrounding the Martin County Courthouse.
“This is kind of a last-minute thing we threw together,” he told the crowd. “But we’re going to do it big in October.”

Saturday’s show was a preview of Anthony’s upcoming “Rural Revival Project,” a grassroots street Oct. 11 also in Inez.
“I promise we’ll be back,” said Anthony. “I’m excited for it.”

Ticketing details for the Oct. 11 show are coming soon.
