Wilburn Mullins Jr. “June Bug,” 63, of Ashville, Ohio, passed away at home May 3, 2025.

Born Sept. 25, 1961 in Beech Grove, Indiana, he was the son of the late Wilburn Mullins Sr. and Susie Marie (Davis) Yarbour.

He was a graduate of Lenore High School in West Virginia. He had worked in the retail business for many years in management.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his“daughter” Leeann Merrick.

Survivors include his mother; sisters Teresa Prince of Ashville, North Carolina, Sandy Mullins of Columbus, Ohio, and Marsha Murphy of Ashville, North Carolina; brothers Terry Mullins of West Virginia and Randy Mullins of Ashville, North Carolina; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services took place Friday, May 9, 2025 at the Callaham Funeral Home in Warfield, Kentucky, with burial at the Mountain View Memory Gardens in Maher, West Virginia. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Kentucky.
