Roy Franklin Allen
1941—2025

Roy Franklin Allen, 83, of Wittensville, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.

Born May 25, 1941, in Beauty, he was the son of the late Ben Sr. and Elizabeth Allen. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by five brothers.

Survivors include seven children, two brothers, three sisters, 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and his longtime companion, Sue Mills and her family.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel, with a graveside tribute at the Allen Family Cemetery, Inez. Visitation begins at 11 a.m.
