WILLIAMSBURG — The Office of Academic Affairs at University of the Cumberlands has recognized two Inez students for outstanding academic performance during the Spring 2025 semester.

Alana Maynard was named to the President’s List, the university’s highest academic honor. A member of the Class of 2025, Maynard is majoring in Elementary (P-5) Education and minoring in Interdisciplinary Studies.

To qualify for the President’s List, students must complete at least 12 credit hours, earn a perfect 4.0 GPA for the semester, receive an “A” in UC Engage, and remain in good academic standing.

Savannah Young earned placement on the Dean’s List, which requires a minimum semester GPA of 3.5, full-time enrollment and good academic standing.
