INEZ — Damian Cheek is the Tommy’s Auto Sales Player of the Week.
Cheek collected his 100th hit on a double-bagger that drove in two Cardinal runners in a 6-5 comeback win over Fairview on April 18. The slugger also crossed home plate for a Martin County score.
The senior was 1-1 against Phelps at-bat and scored a run in the 14-2 win.
At home versus Paintsville, he rounded the bases twice and walked two times. In an away game against the Tigers, Cheek collected a hit and drove in an RBI.
