Robert Bowens
1944—2025

Robert Bowens, age 81, of Kermit, West Virginia, passed away April 16, 2025, at his residence.

He was born March 28, 1944, to the late James and Jessie (Spaulding) Bowens in Fort Gay.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Bowens; son, Robert Glen Bowens; six brothers, Charles, Haskel, Everett, Dan, John and Paul David; and four sisters, Opal, Pearl, Carol and Louise.

He is survived by two sons, Mitchell Dale (Kim) Bowens of Kermit and Barry Bowens of Norwalk, Ohio, two grandchildren, Danielle (PJ) Hall and Katlyn Bowens, both of South Carolina, and three great-grandchildren, Saber Hall, Kane Hall and Jayleigh Hall.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Crum Funeral Home in Inez. Burial followed at the Fluty Lick Cemetery under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
