INEZ — Morehead State player and former Martin County star Brady Dingess is channeling his efforts into giving back to his home community through the establishment of the “Kennadi’s Kindness” Scholarship.
Operating under his OWE1 organization, Dingess is utilizing basketball workouts as a means to raise funds for the initiative which honors the memory of Kennadi Mollett, a young life tragically lost too soon.
The scholarship will award $1000 to a deserving female athlete involved in either girls basketball or cheerleading in Martin County.
Aspiring applicants are required to submit a short essay responding to the prompt: “Express the importance of being kind, with a strong Family Foundation, while maintaining a strong work ethic and all essential values to become successful.”
Dingess hopes this will serve as a tribute to Kennadi and aims to support local young women who embody the values of kindness, strong family ties and dedication.
