Christy Dawn Speer

Christy Dawn Speer, 49, of Lovely, passed away April 11, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Hospital due to a long-term illness.

She was born July 31, 1975, the daughter of the late Clyde Philip Speer Jr. and Margie Ann Hutchinson Speer.

Christy was a loving mother and proud grandmother. She was an alumnus of Sheldon Clark High School.

She was very outgoing and had a lot of friends, touching the hearts of everyone she met.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Amy Joyce Speer White and two infant sons.

Christy is survived by her daughter, Chelsey Diann Speer Muncy; one grandson, Jackson Phillip Muncy; one granddaughter, Brixleigh Jayde Speer; one niece, Madyson Messer; and great-niece, Kinley Bowen. She has several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and family members who loved her dearly.

Christy’s family will be having a celebration of life service for her May 10, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Warfield Cemetery on Collins Creek on this day. A balloon release will be held in her memory. Feel free to bring your own balloons in remembrance of your own family and friends.

The family is asking in lieu of flowers for all donations to be paid to the Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
