Laureda Jo Muncy
1978—2025

Laureda Jo Muncy, 47, of Stepptown, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on April 12, 2025.

She was born Feb. 7, 1978, the daughter of Linda Fay Stepp and the late Larry “Worm” Muncy.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her grandma Dolly Muncy, grandpa Jack W. Stepp Sr., grandma Helen W. Stepp, and daughter (infant) Leslie Muncy.

Laureda Jo was a homemaker and a member of the East Kermit Church of God.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by daughters Helen “Bri” Muncy, Kaylee (Nick) Natividad and Cherokee Muncy; brother Larry Jack (LJ) Muncy; sister Jessica Marie Dillon; nephews John Noles, Aaron Noles, Stephen (T) Beal; nieces Gabrielle Muncy and Ariel Muncy; four great-nephews; one great-niece; and a host of family and friends.

A memorial celebration of life took place April 15, 2025, at East Kermit Church of God, with Stuart Martin officiating. There will be a graveside service when her ashes are received. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
