Jerry Maynard
1961—2024

Jerry Maynard, 64, of Fort Gay, West Virginia, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025.

He was born March 26, 1961, in Pike County to Thelma Messer Maynard and the late Thomas Maynard.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by one brother, Timmy Maynard.

Survivors, in addition to Jerry’s mother, include his siblings, Theresa (Paul) Brewer, Janie (Walter) Dingess, Thomas (Marsha) Maynard Jr., Jessie Owen (Sherry) Maynard, Lisa (Tedo Fields) Maynard, Tracy (Mark Hinkle) Johnson and Chanda (Dwayne) Grace.

Jerry had a passion for motorcycles.

He had a big heart and loved to make his family laugh. He loved his little princess, Sylia Hope, his great-niece, and she loved her “Jer Jer.” Jerry loved all of his nieces and nephews very much and will be missed greatly. He was so very loved by his family.

Funeral services will take place at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Callaham Funeral Home Chapel in Warfield, Kentucky. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Kentucky
