Rebecca Jane Maynard
1953—2025

Rebecca Jane Maynard, 71, of Naugatuck, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2025. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by all her family and friends.

Rebecca was born July 31, 1953.

She is preceded in death by her parents–mother Beulah York; her loving husband John Henry Maynard; siblings Sheila Elkins, Drema New, Katy Hensley, John L. Ferguson, Darrell Ferguson, George Ferguson, Arthur Hatfield, Douglas Eugene Ferguson and Jimmy Dale Ferguson.

Rebecca was of Christian faith and a retired CNA (SNRA) from Mingo Manor.

She is survived by her daughter Beronica (Joey) Bragg; four grandchildren, Aurora Ailiff, Owen Ailiff, Kaitlyn Ailiff, Conner Bragg, Kathy Jo Bragg; seven great-grandchildren, Waylon Isaiah Maynard, Layken Ailiff, River Ailiff, Forrest Ailiff, Christian Sipple, Mya Sipple and Jaxon Sipple; brother Donnie New; sisters Ethel Spradlin and Sharon Mullins; special friends Johnny Caudill and Donnie Jarvis; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services took place Monday, April 7, 2025, at Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield, with Brian Wellman officiating. Burial followed at the Mt View Memory Gardens. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
