NAUGATUCK, W.Va. — The Tug Valley Lady Panthers downed the Lady Hillbillies of Man 10-0 Wednesday, April 2 at the TVHS field at Naugatuck.
Coach Rocky Hall’s squad pounded out 10 hits. Winning pitcher Bailee Hall only allowed one hit to the visitors, had 10 strikeouts and only issued two walks.
Katie Hall led the Lady Panthers with three hits, while Paisley Bolyard and Aleksah Osborne both had two hits. One of Bolyard’s hits was a triple, while Bailee Hall helped her own cause with a double. Katie Hall also scored three runs and had two RBIs for TVHS.
Tug Valley plated three runs each in the first and second innings, then tacked on four more in the bottom of the fourth frame.
T. Lester was the losing pitcher in the circle for Man, while leadoff hitter K. Blevins got the lone hit for the Lady Billies.
Tug Valley, like most teams in the area, had several games rained out this past week.
