Gladys (Fitch) Stepp
1927—2025

Gladys (Fitch) Stepp, age 98, of Inez, passed away on April 2, 2025, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 10, 1927, in Martin County to the late Ben and Rena (McCoy) Fitch.

In addition to her parents, Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Stepp; one son, James Henry Stepp; three daughters, Susan Francis Mollett, Dicie Mae Greer and Lena Mitchell; one granddaughter, Sharon Yaunk; one daughter-in-law, Susie Stepp; four sons-in-law, Truman Hackney, James Hensley, James Mollett and Gary Mitchell; four brothers, Hobert Fitch, Benny Fitch, Hezekiah D. Fitchpatrick and Carlos Fitch; and three sisters, Ann Perry, Pricie Crum and Blanche Crum.

Gladys is survived by two sons, Jasper Stepp Jr. of Tomahawk and Larry Stepp of Inez; two daughters, Irene Hensley of Inez and Judy (Gerald) Clark of Inez; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Crum Funeral Home, Inez, with Frank Hay officiating. Burial followed at the Stepp Cemetery in Inez. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
