The Tug Valley Lady Panthers lost their first game of the season to the St. Marys Lady Blue Devils 7-0 on March 25 but bounced back to beat Westside 5-0 on March 26. Both games were on the road.

ST. MARYS, W.Va. — The Lady Blue Devils scored three runs in the first, two more in the second and one each in the third and fourth to get the shutout 7-0 win March 25 over the Lady Panthers.
Tug Valley only had two hits, a double by Emma Lackey and a single by P. Bolyard.
Bailee Hall took the pitching loss for TVHS, while Cali Masters got the win in the circle for St. Marys.
Masters and Ella Bullman had two hits each for the home team, with one of Bullman’s being a double. Landrey Riggs also had a double.

CLEAR FORK, W.Va. — Tug Valley bounced back after its first loss with a 5-0 road win at Westside on March 26.
The Lady Panthers took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, then tacked on two more runs in both the fourth and fifth innings.
Bailee Hall and Bryleigh Fletcher both had two hits for Coach Rocky Hall’s squad. Emma Lackey and Aleksah Osborne also had hits. Hall and Osborne belted doubles, while Lackey had two RBIs.
Lackey was the winning pitcher for TVHS, while Paisley Shannon took the loss for Westside.
Lackey and Hall combined for a no-hitter as Westside did not have any hits in the game.
Westside only had two base runners.
Lackey had 15 strikeouts, one walk and a hit batsman.
Hall got the save in relief and had two strikeouts.
