PIKEVILLE — Peyton Davis, Bryson Dials and Parker Watts were named to the 15th Region All-Tournament Team after leading Martin County to the finals last week
Davis averaged 21.3 points and knocked down 16 3-pointers over the course of the tournament. The senior finished the season ranked fifth in the region from behind the arc. He scored 26 points against Floyd Central and 23 against Lawrence County.
Dials averaged 16.6 points and 5.6 rebounds in the 15th Region Tournament. He fired in 24 points and secured six rebounds against the Floyd Central Jaguars on March 10.
Watts was good for an average of 29.6 points and 12.3 rebounds during the three-game tournament stretch. This included a double-double performance with 31 points and 16 rebounds against Phelps on March 8. He finished the season as the region’s third-leading scorer and seventh in the state at 27.5 points per contest.
