Richard McCoy
1958—2025

Richard McCoy, age 66, of Inez, passed away March 13, 2025, at his residence.

He was born April 8, 1958, in Martin County to the late Clyde and Grace (Jude) McCoy. In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by four brothers, Johnny McCoy, Gabie McCoy, Carl (Linda) McCoy and Tommy McCoy and one sister, Lois Meade.

Richard is survived by his wife, Connie (Potter) McCoy of Inez; one son, Richard Jason McCoy of Inez; one daughter, Marsha (Leslie) Jude of Inez; two brothers, Clyde (Angie) McCoy Jr. of Marysville, Ohio, and Leroy (Phyllis) McCoy of Louisa; and three sisters, Caroline (Kim) Ratliff of Warfield, Gail (Randy) Cassady of Pilgrim and Linda (David) Moore of Kodak, Tennessee. He is also survived by one grandson, Brandon (Jennifer) Jude of Inez; one granddaughter, Haley (Ralph) Reed of Inez; and four great-grandsons, Liam Reed, Walker Jude, Lane Jude and Levi Reed. 

Funeral services took place Saturday, March 15, 2025, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home, Inez, with Randy Cassady officiating. Burial followed at the Riverview Memorial Gardens in Louisa, under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
