Nyoka Jean Lambert Blevins
1968—2025

Nyoka Jean Lambert Blevins, 56, of Lenore, West Virginia, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025.

She was born Dec. 29, 1968, in Mingo County to the late Willard Kenneth Lambert and Pauline Harmon Lambert.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Clyde (Mary) Lambert and two grandchildren, Brylee Ann and Baby Randy.

Nyoka is survived by her children, Nashonna (Randy) Laduke of Boone, Wynonna (Jonathan) Copley of Williamson, Todd (Debra Kay) Blevins of Naugatuck, Dasondra (Caleb Ward) Jude of Fort Gay, Brandi (Chris) of Georgia, and Alex Elkins of Maher; four special nieces, Latonia (Flem) Muncy,  Tanya (Shaun) Ball, Jacquelyn (Seth) Hinkle and Ashley (Ricky) Brewer, and three siblings, Lisa (Donnie) Jarvis of Naugatuck, Pauline Lambert Compton of Dingess, and Dan (Lana) Lambert of Nolan. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren who called her “Nanny:” John, Jessie, Waylon, Elizabeth, David Allen, Brayden Clyde, Ellie, Dustin, Judy Kay, Isabella, Courtney, Christina, Marshall, Tory, Brandon, Kadence, Madison, Timmy, Dani-Bug, RJ, Lory Bell, Jordon, James David, Sadie, Mason, Whitley and Chesney. She leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends whom she loved very much.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Victory Christian Center in Lenore, with Earl White officiating. Burial followed at the Jarvis Cemetery under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Kentucky.
