Mary Jane Workman
1949—2025

Mary Jane Workman, 75, of Louisa, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at The Jordan Center Nursing Facility in Louisa.

She was born June 19, 1949, in Mingo County, West Virginia, to the late Bernard Hensley and Hattie Porter Hensley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one grandson, Danny Oscar Hensley.

Mary is survived by her husband, Roosevelt Workman of Louisa; one son, Danny Hensley of Louisa; a stepson, Roosevelt Workman of Danville; and one brother, Denny Hensley of Lovely.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Warfield Chapel of the Callaham Funeral Home with Tim Preece officiating. Burial followed at the Johnson Cemetery in Lovely. Arrangments are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
