INEZ — Georgetown College is gaining a top soccer prospect out of Martin County this upcoming season. Laura Hale, the daughter of Bobby and Susan Hale, will be suiting up for the Tigers after signing for the school on March 14 at the Martin County High School auditorium in front of her friends and family.
Hale finished her senior season ranked fifth in the state of Kentucky in assists with 1.2 per game. She was 39th in scoring at 1.4 goals per contest and 23rd in points with 4 per game.
Hale was in the top 50 in all three categories in three of her high school seasons.
The student-athlete is distinguished on and off the pitch with a 4.0 GPA while scoring a 32 on her ACT.
