RICHMOND — Two students from Martin County have earned academic honors at Eastern Kentucky University for the Fall 2024 semester.
Abbie Grace Clark, a finance major from Inez, received the president’s Award, the university’s highest undergraduate academic distinction. This honor is reserved for students who achieve a perfect 4.0 GPA for the semester.
Taylor LeighAnn Albright, a psychology major from Warfield, and Clark were both named to the dean’s list. To qualify, students must meet specific GPA requirements based on their course load: a minimum 3.75 GPA for 12 credit hours, 3.65 for 13 credit hours, and 3.5 for 14 or more credit hours. All GPAs are out of a possible 4.0 scale.
