Cardinals wrestlers earn All-Region honors

Eleven Martin County High School wrestlers have been named to the 2025 Region 8 All-Region team, with Blake Lemaster earning the distinction of Most Outstanding Wrestler in the 113-pound weight class.

The Cardinals placed seven wrestlers on the first team: Jeremy Mollett at 106 pounds, Blake Lemaster at 113, Jono Cline at 120, Julian Stafford at 126, Jeremy Begley at 132, Parker Maynard at 138 and Chase Stacy at 144.

Four wrestlers made the second team: Weston Jude at 150 pounds, Cole Jewell at 165, George Lemaster at 175 and Ryan Smith at 215.
