Norvin Columbus ‘Butch’ Crum

1958—2025

Norvin Columbus “Butch” Crum, age 66, of Debord, passed away Feb. 8, 2025, at Highlands ARH in Prestonsburg.

Born March 14, 1958, in Hamilton, Ohio, he was the son of the late William Francis and Tennessee (Tiller) Crum.

In addition to his parents, Norvin is preceded in death by one brother, Billy Crum.

He is survived by his lifelong partner, Betty; three sons, Rodney (Amy) Crum of Columbus, Ohio, William Mason Crum of Cincinnati, and Shon Alan Robinson of Inez; one daughter, Crystal (Jason) Samson of Cincinnati; two brothers, Ben Crum and James Crum, both of Inez; three sisters, Jennette of Tennessee, Louise Crum and Cookie Crum, all of Inez; and one special niece, Becky Coyle. Norvin is also survived by six grandchildren.

At the request of the family there will be no funeral services. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
