INEZ — The Inez Elementary Academic team secured the overall runner-up title at the District Governor’s Cup , earning a spot in the regional competition. The team showcased its strength across multiple categories, with standout performances in Quick Recall, Future Problem-Solving and individual written assessments.

In the Quick Recall event, the team finished as runner-up, with contributions from Kason Evans, Kayden McCoy, Jayce McCoy, Liam Burke and Trey Schmidt.

The Future Problem-Solving team, consisting of Kayden McCoy, Liam Burke, Harper Butcher and Lainey Davis, also claimed the runner-up position.

Several students excelled in individual content areas.

Kayden McCoy and Lainey Davis placed in Written Composition.

Jayce McCoy and Trey Schmidt earned recognition in Math.

Liam Burke and Jayce McCoy placed in Social Studies.

Isom Ritchie received honors in Science.
