Hook, line & Williamson Fieldhouse: Fishing Expo is back

CITIZEN STAFF REPORT

Those who have a thing for tackle and a passion for fishing poles should mark their calendars. On Feb. 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Williamson Parks Commission and Friends of the Tug Fork River are bringing back their 5th Annual Fishing Expo—and this year, they are going bigger.

“Come out to the Williamson Fieldhouse and check out all the vendors,” Pete Runyon of Friends of the Tug Fork River said. “We are expecting this show to be even bigger in attendance than the years before.”

Speaking of vendors, they are still signing them up. If your business is fishing- or outdoors-related, consider this your open invitation.

“If you or anyone you know is interested in being a vendor at this event, we will always accommodate more and would love to have you,” said Runyon. “This is a great opportunity to get your stuff out there for so many outdoor enthusiasts to see.”

Interested? Call or text Runyon at 606-375-0533 to snag a spot—or to ask questions.

“I will be happy to assist you, get you signed up, and answer any questions you might have.”
