Steven Ray Marcum
1970—2025

Steven Ray Marcum, 54, of Crum, West Virginia, raced his final race Jan. 16, 2025.

Born Nov. 11, 1970, he was the son of the late Henry Marcum Jr. and Pegg Marcum.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Michelle Marcum and nieces Brittany and Heather Marcum.

Steven was a loving family man and the best father to his three children, Deleisha (Chris) Johnson, Brandi (Timmy) Lemaster and Austin Marcum. He also leaves behind his devoted wife, Priscelle, who he cherished more than anything. Steven was also a wonderful Pap-Pap to three precious grandchildren who adore him: Adalynn Johnson, Axel Lemaster and Wrenley Johnson. Additional survivors include his brother Joey (Crystal) Marcum, sister Stephanie (Eugene Ray), a host of nieces and nephews, and some of the best racing buddies you could ask for.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Riverbend Freewill Baptist Church, Crum, West Virginia, with Alex Spaulding officiating. Burial will follow at the Rose Cemetery, 375 Summers Fork Road. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
