Wagalene (Dempsey) Mahon
1964—2025

Wagalene (Dempsey) Mahon, 60, of Debord, passed away Jan. 10, 2025, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 2, 1964, the daughter of the late Edgar Dempsey and Nadine (Harmon) Dempsey Jude.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother James Willard Dempsey, father-in-law Tennis Mahon, sister-in-law Norma Johnson-Mahon and brother-in-law Frank Jarrell.

Survivors include Wagalene’s loving husband, James Russell Mahon of Debord; son James Brandon (Amanda) Mahon; mother-in-law Susie (Fletcher) Mahon; brother-in-law Boone (Norma) Mahon; sisters-in-law Brenda (Donald Ray) Fraley, Judith Mahon, Ruth Maynard and Doris Jarrell. She also leaves behind one grandchild—her buddy Kaleb Mahon—and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, family and friends.

To the two loves of my life, my husband and my son: Live life, be happy, remember me in the happy times.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, Jan. 13, 2025 in the Crum Funeral Home chapel, Inez. Burial followed at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Louisa. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
