Veva Carolyn Tabor, 68, passed away Jan. 2, 2025, at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Born Jan. 21, 1956, in Paintsville, she was the daughter of the late Columbus Stacy Jr and Flora Evans Stacy.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Acie O’Dell Stacy, sisters-in-law Mary Stacy and Betty Stacy, and sisters Rosie Jane, Patsy and Dolly Stacy.

She was a security officer for Masey Alliance Nighthawk and a member of Canada Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years, Michael Tabor; son Columbus Damron (Katelynn Halsey) of Wayne; stepchildren Danny Damron and Katelyn Damron; daughter Laura Napier of Wayne; grandchildren Alexis Damron, Olivia Mort, Raelynn Damron, Aurora Damron, Jaired Blankenship, Kaiden Damron, Tyson Damron, Leo Damron, Graeson Damron and Brantley Jackson; brother Harvey Stacy of Delbarton; sisters Ruby Fitzpatrick of Inez, Judy (John) Taylor of Belfry, Faye (Terry) Walters of Hatfield, Bonnie (Glen) Moore of Kermit, Naoma (Normon) Bowens of Hode, and Sandra (Doug) Runyon of Crum; stepbrother-in-law Shawn (Carrie) Tabor; stepsister-in-law Amanda (Robert) Congleton; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral Services were conducted Tuesday Jan. 7, 2025, at Crum Separate Baptist Church. Burial followed at the Napier Family Cemetery in Wayne. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
