INEZ — Martin County hosted the Cardinal Duals on Saturday and none of the six teams that attended were a match for the rowdy hosts.

The squad came in Saturday morning poised and ready to take care of business. The closest another team could get to Martin County was Ashland. The Cards handled them 65-16.

The red and white defeated Knott County 72-6, Prestonsburg 71-6 and Eastside 68-6. They took down Floyd Central and Paintsville with the old goose egg on their opponents’ ends: 76-0 and 75-0.

Martin County, coached by Josh Muncy, will travel to Belfry this weekend for the Clipson Jones Memorial.
