Pauline May (Brewer)
1932—2024

Pauline Brewer (Moore) May, 92, of Kermit, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 20, 2024.

Born March 2, 1932 in Kermit, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Dica Rose Brewer.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Moore Jr., three sisters and four brothers.

Pauline was a loving wife of 59-1/2 years to John Henry May of Kermit, West Virginia, with whom she had one son, Glenn (Bonnie) Moore of Kermit. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Joseph (Jessica) Moore of Galloway, Ohio, and Paula (Greg) Brewer of Hebron, Ohio, and six great-grandchildren, Kollin Hall, Kaylee Brewer, Tevin Moore, Knox Brewer, Kruz Brewer and Bryson Moore who were the loves of her life. She also leaves behind her sister Saundra Moore and a host of nieces, nephews and lots of friends.

She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church for over 60 years, where she, her husband and her son played music.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, Dec. 23, 2024 at Marrowbone Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Herman Stacy, Mike Smith and John Taylor officiating. Burial followed at the Family Cemetery by her son’s home on Marrowbone Creek Road. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
