Lady Panthers down Westside 59-34

CLEAR FORK, W.Va. — The Lady Panthers of Tug Valley improved to 4-1 on the season with a 59-34 win over Class AA Westside on Monday, Dec. 16.

Tug Valley came into the game ranked No. 7 in the Coaches Poll.

The Lady Panthers jumped out to a 19-3 first-quarter lead and never relinquished that advantage.

Kenzie Browning led the scoring for TVHS with 17 points, while Kylie DeBoard added 15. Haven Deskins chipped in 10 points, while Katie Hall added eight.

Katie Hall and Bailee Hall each pulled down eight rebounds, while Deskins and DeBoard both had five steals.

For Westside, Karsyn Paynter led the way with 16 points, while Sarah Lilly added 13.

The Lady Panthers will play in the Summers County Holiday Tourney on Dec. 20 – 21.
