The Veterans Coalition for Better Health Care and Big Sandy DAV Chapter #18 held roadblock fundraisers to purchase clothing for children this Christmas season. Their efforts raised enough funds to donate $500 to each of three elementary schools in Martin County and seven in Johnson County.

On Dec. 7, Family Resource Center directors from the participating schools joined the veterans for a shopping spree at Walmart.
