This holiday season marked a special milestone for our community as we hosted the first-ever Regional Health Department Christmas Collaboration event at the Martin County Library.

The event was a tremendous success, bringing together over 150 public health staff from across the six-county Big Sandy region to celebrate success in achieving multiple public health victories while fostering a spirit of collaboration among the regional public health team.

Martin County Health Department was thrilled to showcase the charm of Martin County’s Christmas in the Mountains while hosting such a significant gathering. Bringing so many people to our small town was not only exciting but also a chance to highlight the strong sense of community and hospitality we are so proud of.

This event reinvigorated our team’s dedication that drives the health department’s mission to serve our community.
