Morehead State University’s Fall Commencment set for Dec. 14

Morehead State University has announced details for the 2024 Fall Commencement. The commencement ceremony for fall and winter 2024 graduates begins at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, in the Academic-Athletic Center (AAC).

The Lavender Graduation is at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, in the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC) Theater. This annual ceremony honors LGBTQ+ students and acknowledges their campus accomplishments and contributions.

The Rites of Passage ceremony is at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, in the ADUC Theater. This ceremony celebration is a ritual for minority and international students at MSU that marks a change from one stage of life to the following, commemorating graduation.

You do not need a ticket for the commencement ceremony, and there is no limit to the number of guests who may attend. Accommodated seating for guests and their families will be available at the AAC. This seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving before the ceremony begins is recommended.

MSU will livestream the ceremony for those who are unable to attend.
