Elsie Rachel (Stacy) Jarvis
1937—2024

Elsie Rachel (Stacy) Jarvis, age 87, of Inez, passed away Nov. 25, 2024, at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa.

She was born Oct. 21, 1937, in Martin County to the late Isaac and Nellie Jane (Jude) Stacy.

In addition to her parents, Elsie is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Jarvis, several brothers and one sister.

She is survived by three sons, Earl (Mary) Jarvis of Lowmansville, Earnest Jarvis of Inez and Billy (Michelle) Jarvis of Grayson, and three daughters, Polly Triplett and Becky (Jamie) Howard, both of Inez, and Janie (Dwayne) Swords of Blaine. Elsie is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home, Inez, with Buddy Stacy officiating. Burial followed at the Dials Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
