Mrs. Kayla Hale’s fifth-grade class at Inez Elementary School paid tribute to community Veterans with a heartfelt program Nov. 11.

The fifth-grade students led the event with a touching prayer, poetry readings, songs and a recitation of the Preamble to the Constitution, all in honor of the Veterans’ service and sacrifices.

Following the program, Veterans, students and their families enjoyed a delicious breakfast featuring biscuits, fried potatoes and a local favorite—chocolate gravy.

Inez Elementary School proudly stands in support of all Veterans with love and respect for their dedication to the nation.
