INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:
Courtney Megan Mills, 28, of Inez, was arrested Saturday at Milo BP, Tomahawk, on a bench warrant. Special Deputy J.C. Kirk made the arrest.
Vicky Venturino, 34, of Williamson, was arrested Saturday at the Miner’s Mart in Pilgrim for public intoxication-controlled substance (excludes alcohol) and third-degree criminal mischief. Constable Brad Preece responded to a complaint saying Venturino was in the bathroom at Miner’s Mart refusing to come out, hollering and talking out of her head. Preece reported that Venturino had put “stuff” in the drains and flooded the bathroom. He said she could not pass a sobriety test.
Shaunda Crum, 38, of Tomahawk, was arrested Friday on Spring Branch in Inez for first-degree possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, third-degree possession of controlled substance (drug unspecified), and drug paraphernalia-buy/possession.
Acting on a tip regarding suspected narcotics activity, Chief Deputy Chris Kidd arrived at a residence on Spring Branch Road at approximately 11:45 a.m. Upon receiving permission to search the house, the officer uncovered illegal drugs in the back bedroom where Crum was staying. He found a bottle containing white powder on a vanity near Crum’s wallet along with digital scales with a white crystal substance. He also discovered multiple baggies of marijuana weighing in at around 88.5 grams and a buprenorphine strip inside Crum’s wallet.
Dorothy Spence, 41, of Tomahawk, was arrested Friday on Howard Spence Road in Tomahawk for operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure to produce an insurance card, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance/security, no registration receipt, no registration plates, rear license no illuminated and no tail lamps. Deputy Justin Bellamy made the arrest.
George Douglas English, 53, of Warfield, was arrested Friday on Groundhog Hollow for public intoxication of a controlled substance (excludes alcohol), prescription controlled substance not in original container, and possession of controlled substance (drug unspecified). Sheriff Kirk arrested English, reporting that English was walking down his driveway while being extremely impaired with slurred speech and unsteadiness. The police report states English admitted he had taken suboxone and Neurontin. English had four Neurontin pills in his pocket. He let the sheriff look in his phone without a search warrant. The sheriff noted English’s phone contained messages about drug trafficking.
Wesley Borders, 49, of Louisa, was arrested Friday at a traffic safety checkpoint at the intersection of Routes 40 and 645 for driving on a DUI-suspended license. Sheriff Kirk made the arrest.
Steven A. Marcum, 55, of Louisa, was arrested Friday at the intersection of Coldwater and Route 645 for driving on a DUI-suspended license. Deputy J.C. Kirk arrested Marcum at a traffic safety checkpoint.
Ronald Crum, 46, of Tomahawk, was arrested Thursday on Howard Spence Road in Tomahawk on a bench warrant for failure to appear. Bellamy made the arrest.
Kenneth Allen Rose, 32, of Inez, was arrested Thursday on Rockcastle Creek Road in Inez on a bench warrant. Sheriff Kirk made the arrest.
Jimmy Castle, 47, of Sitka, was arrested Thursday on KY-645 near Coldwater Road in Inez for second-offense driving under the influence, probation violation for a felony offense, insufficient headlamps, rear license not illuminated and failure to appear. Bellamy made the arrest after stopping Castle for having a headlamp out and his rear license plate not illuminated.
Rondal Endicott, 50, of Inez, was arrested Oct. 16 on Little Lick Road in Inez on a warrant charging him with trespassing in connection with an Oct. 15 home invasion on Coldwater Road. Sheriff Kirk made the arrest.
James Mollett, 48, of Inez, was arrested Oct. 16 on a bench warrant.
Joshua Ray Maynard, 18, of Warfield, was arrested Oct. 16 on Park Place in Inez for public intoxication-controlled substance (excludes alcohol). Kidd arrested Maynard after finding him passed out on the sidewalk at Appalachian Wireless.
Rosanna Bowen, 35, of Debord, was arrested Oct. 11 on Earnest Porter Drive in Debord on two bench warrants for court. Deputy JC Kirk made the arrest.
