NAUGATUCK — Tug Valley quarterback Preston May is the Tommy’s Auto Sales Player of the Week.

May had an outstanding performance Friday night against Mount View at Bob Brewer Stadium in Naugatuck.

The sophomore threw for 253 yards and accounted for five touchdown passes.

His ability to read the defense and make smart decisions was a key factor in Tug Valley’s dominant 48-0 victory.

He and the Panthers are 7-0 on the season and ranked No. 1 in the state.
