INEZ — The Martin County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) announced multiple traffic safety checkpoints that will take place periodically throughout the county to ensure motorists comply with motor vehicle laws, including driving under the influence regulations.

These checkpoints are part of the MCSO’s efforts to enhance road safety and deter violations of the law. The public safety service focuses on vehicle equipment compliance, verifying proper vehicle registration and insurance, and confirming drivers have valid licenses.

Any violations of the law or other public safety concerns identified during the checkpoints will be addressed accordingly.

Motorists with their driver’s license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance in hand and no violation of law can expect only minimal delays.
