INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:
Brianna Ellis, 20, of Lexington, was arrested Tuesday for contempt of court.
Andrew Vogeler, 45, of Sparta, was arrested Tuesday for contempt of court.
Taylor Gordon Howell, 26, of Lovely, was arrested Monday at the mouth of Turkey Creek in Inez on two bench warrants for contempt of court. Chief Deputy Chris Kidd made the arrest.
Daniel Lowe, 56, of Pilgrim, was arrested Sunday on a bench warrant.
Garland Mills, 50, of Pilgrim, was arrested Sunday for receiving stolen property. Bellamy made the arrest.
Jeremy Tyler Jude, 28, of Tomahawk, was arrested Sunday on a bench warrant and probation violation for a felony offense. Bellamy made the arrest.
Trevor Kelly Blackburn, 28, of Debord, was arrested Saturday for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Julie Elizabeth Lewis, 44, of Martha, was arrested Oct. 9 at White Oak Hill in Inez on a warrant out of Lawrence District Court for fraudulent use of a credit card ($500-$1,000). Sheriff Kirk made the arrest.
Forrest Hinkle Jr., 66, of Tomahawk, was arrested Oct. 9 in the sheriff’s office after turning himself in on an indictment warrant for possession of a controlled substance in the first degree (methamphetamine), operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs first offense, possession of a controlled substance in the third degree (phentermine), possession of marijuana, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, possession or use of drug paraphernalia, failure to produce insurance card, failure to wear a seat belt, and reckless driving. Chief Deputy Chris Kidd made the arrest.
Kenneth R. Davis, 65, of Warfield, was arrested Oct. 9 for alcohol intoxication in a public place. Constable Mitchell Bowen made the arrest.
Clayton Jude, 51, of Pilgrim, was arrested Oct. 9 on Emily Creek Road for public intoxication of a controlled substance (excludes alcohol). Constable Brad Preece arrested Jude after receiving a report that he was walking along Emily Creek Road near White Oak. Preece reported Jude was “manifestly under the influence of something,” was unsteady on his feet and could not pass any sobriety test. Jude allegedly stated he had taken suboxone.
Earnest W. New, 51, of Lovely, was arrested Oct. 8 in the sheriff’s office on a bench warrant. Deputy Dennis Hall made the arrest.
