Jonell (Chaffins) Hensley
1962—2024

Jonell (Chaffins) Hensley, age 61, of Lenore, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 20, 1962, in Williamson, to the late Thomas Jefferson and Columbia (Collins) Chaffins.

In addition to her parents, Jonell is preceded in death by three sisters, Donna Chaffins, Pat Finley and Lois Becker.

Survivors include Jonell’s husband, Arnold Hensley Jr; two sons, Joshua Hensley and Casey (Tabitha) Hensley, both of Lenore; two brothers, Fred (Carol) Chaffins of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, and Jeff (Tammy) Chaffins of Lowmansville, Kentucky; one sister, Carol (Herbert) Cantrell of Inez, Kentucky; and one grandson, Joshua Jace. She is also survived by a special friend, Sandra Parsley, and several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Jonell loved making jewelry to give to her family and enjoyed sewing toys for her grandson.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024, in the Crum Funeral Home chapel, Inez, with Jeremy Cantrell officiating. Burial followed at the Collins Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
