Edna (Luster) Johnson
1948—2024

Edna (Luster) Johnson, age 76, of Inez, passed away Sept. 20, 2024, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 10, 1948, to the late Matthew and Joyce (Maynard) Luster in Inez.

In addition to her parents, Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Johnson; three sons, Phillip Johnson, Charles Johnson and Wendell Johnson; one brother, Herman Luster; and two sisters, Lucille (Luster) Zeek and Lavonne (Luster) Goble. She is survived by two brothers, Raymond Luster and Joseph Matthew Luster; two sisters, Norene (Luster) Johnson and Judy Gail (Luster) Mills; four grandchildren, Charles Alex Turner, Wendell Taylor Johnson, Albert Dylan Vanhoose and Sasha Marie Johnson; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024, at the Vineyard United Baptist Church with Richard Doc Maynard officiating. Burial followed at the Johnson Family Cemetery in Inez. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
